Location rear lift gate interior side. 2016 Platinum el. Dealership acknowledged the problem and I have appointment scheduled for meeting with warranty people about what my options are.

I bought a new 2015 Expediton Limited 4x4 (Blue Jeans Metallic) - never wrecked or damaged, and used strictly for passsenger use.
The paint began to bubble in the same locations (inside of rear hatch, near the bottom) before the basic warranty expired. I did not have it fixed as the dealer said it would have to rust through to be repaired. I did not press the issue.
When I wash the vehicle or have it washed, I always open the doors, hood and hatch, and towel dry the inside of them. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained.
I know a lot of people post and say that they will never buy another Ford because of (insert reason), but his problem will prevent me from buying another Ford with any aluminum panels. It is clear that Ford has miserable quality control and has been aware of the problem for years - with no solutions or improvements.
This thread sure is long with many posts of the identical problems on different model year Expeditons.
Are there any Ford employees on this forum from the Kentucky Truck Plant or with Ford painting experience that could comment? Thanks.
