    I agree most of them are junk. Some are alright. To use the ones in original housing I'm almost positive you have to bake the housing. Just like painting the internal housing black. There's tons of tuts on the web.

    Go with ddmtuning. You can get them for as low as $35. They come with lifetime warranty. I've used them twice. Once for my integra and the other for the expy. Take about 5 days to come in because they're direct from china. They don't flicker and I've had them for over a year. Excellent deal

    Yea they are the twist in. Size 194. Though that's in my integra. I'll pull the cluster this weekend and see if they're the same size

    The only reason I say there may be a short is because you said when you hooked up a battery straight to it, that it was fine. Follow the lines and see if there's a nick in em somewhere.

    Have you checked to make sure the power wires running to the pump are all intact and that it has a good ground? Probably a short somewhere
