    I have a 2012 expedition limited with factory installed power inverter. the outlet doesn't hold tention on anything I plug into it and it falls out. How do I get into it to see what is going on? Does the cover pop off or do I have to take the console apart?

    The plug is in the resistor correctly, but it is very loose. I checked all the wires inside the plug and they are tight

    Instead of starting new post.. This is driving me crazy, the plug is very loose and the fans stops if i hit a bump or somebody shuts the door too hard. I seen the tsb for the 07-08, is this the same fix for my 12? Is the problem the plug or the resistor?

    I had thr hankooks on my explorer that traded for expedition. Thry were great. Low noise on road with good wet traction. Drove on the beach with them, i aired them down and thr did perfect. Traction in snow was fantastic. Light mud is ok, but when you get in thr deep tacky stuff you might slide...

    If you are looking to drive on the beach, you need to check out currituck county nc. Follow nc 12 north and the hardtop stops. Its about a 10 mile drive on the sand to the fence at the va state line. Doesnt cost any thing to get out there. A little farther south, you can get a week pass for $50...

    I would definitely get the specs on the stock amp, under powering a speaker (clipping) is just as bad as over powering one.

    Doea yours have advancetrac? Im not 100% sure, but if it does i think that a clutch style lsd with cause issues.

    brown wire mod, revisited.

    I did this mod to my explorer, the only thing it did was kill power to the clutch setup in the transfer case. The motor shift from high range to low range, just doesnt engage the front shaft until the switch is flipped on

    I checked the connector to the blower resistor under the dash and did the self test i found in another post. The test didnt show any codes, all the icons showed on the screen and then it did recalibrate like mentioned in other post. Is there a fuse for just the front fan?

    I have a 2012 limited with the dual zone/auto set up. Fan worked earlier this morning, this evening when i turned on the ac i have no fan on any setting. The rear air works like normal and the front switches vent positions and can adjust temp. Any suggestions? Thanks Josh
