No rubbing, trimming or modification on mine with the Bilsteins. Still very happy with the setup.
Just over 56K. Same issues: cam phaser fixed around 40K because of rattling on startup, had one leaking shock at 2K miles, and I forgot to mention the big one! I must have blocked it from my memory. Complete A/C replacement because of a "refrigerant contamination" in production...
You're one of the lucky ones then! Or the Ford engineer... haha. This forum has been filled with complaints from the beginning about these headlights.

I'm not sure about the other Expedition options and configurations, but when...
And go ahead and splurge on a model with the stock LED headlights because the stock projector headlights are absolute junk. You can't see anything beyond 10 feet in front of you at night! Probably Ford's greatest engineering failure since the Pinto. My 2013 projectors on my F150 are great so I...
Yes. At 2,000 (you read that correctly, two thousand) miles my front passenger was leaking on my 2018 FX4. It was a complimentary dealer inspection so not sure how much. Did not have any other issues after that, but just upgraded to Bilstein 5100s at 50,000 miles.
Have not had experience with Cooper's but I highly recommend the Toyo AT's! I am on my second set for my F150 after 60,000+ miles on the first ones and close to 40,000 on these. Same goes for my brother and his F250. We both had Nitto Terra Grapplers that lasted maybe 25,000 before the tread was...
Just installed LT275/70R18 Toyos on stock FX4 rims with the Expy Bilstein 5100s. Full clearance, no trimming! Even if they fit, a 305 is a really wide tire and I would imagine you would get significant rubbing when turning. I definitely think you'll need the ReadyLift kit or Bilsteins.
2018 XLT third brake light. Was quoted $700 from the dealership because they can't just replace the few bulbs that went out in it. Had to be the whole unit. Said ha no thanks!
Update! Finally received my Expy fronts in January (Expy rears and tires came in November) and just got around to having them installed today. Highest setting and moved up from the ~32.5" stock Michelins to a ~33" Toyo. Part# and links below. Rides minimally stiffer but feels like you are...
Dave when and where did you order yours? I've been waiting since September 4 on 5100's and tires from 4WheelParts.

New dad here as well and we upgraded my wife's 2011 Escape to a 2018 Expedition MAX. Agreed, the Toyota interiors are so outdated and being 6'4" I didn't like the Tahoe/Yukon center console that curves inward to the dash. I found that the XLT FX4 was the best bang for our buck I could find...
Is the Bilstein F150 version a direct bolt-on for the Expedition? You won't have to modify? I would be interested if FOX had anything if that were the case. It's funny how on our FX4's they don't even come with Rancho shocks. But I think it was just a sticker on the F-Series the past few years...
I've been waiting to see if the 2.5" kit allegedly ICON was suppose to be coming out with is ever going to happen.
