2000 Driver's window FIXED! (maybe)

Alright, window stopped workin. Stuck down. Relay clickin, power at the motor, no go. Spent an hour tearin the door apart and diagnosing possible problems, finally got on expedition forum, took another member's advice. After 6 beers and gettin REALLY frustrated, I held the driver's window button in the up position and slammed the door while holding it. It went up. I thought to myself, "are you f&%#*$g kidding me". Question is,.....How long will this work?

I had the same problem. Was gonna rip the door apart,but read your post and it friggin worked. THANKS.I still drank the sixer, but no frustration!

I read this last week and I tried it too. It would roll up when I slammed the door, but later that day I tried it and it went up. I dare not roll it down again.

Anyone have a picture of what the relay looks like? Is it hard to replace?

The dealer wants $300 for the job.
