I'm new here and need a little help. I'm sorry if this has been posted before. I have a 2005 Ford Expedition 4x4. I wanted to service the front diff and so I called my Ford dealer and they said to use motorcraft 80w90 diff oil so I changed it. When I got home I looked in my owners manual and it said to use 75w 90 synthetic:emotions122:. Did I mess up or is the 80w 90 ok to use. Thanks for any help.

The weight difference is fine. You might want to check if their is a friction additive that needs to go in there as well.
