Anyone install a valve body (shift) kit in their Gen1?

I searched unsuccessfully to see anyone has installed a valve body kit in their tranny? Mine shifts very smooth, like a caddy. I didn't think this was a bad thing, but my buddy said I should install a shift kit to extend the life of the tranny. It's just over 120,000 miles, so I'm going to be dropping the pan soon anyways. I can hardly find these for sale anywhere or get any reviews. It looks like B&M is the way to go. Thanks..

I looked for one for my tranny as I use my Expy as a tow slut. But I couldn't find a kit that I liked.

I don't have any real intentions of towing anything, as of yet anyways. Maybe a trailer sometime in the future... I'm more into looking to extend the life of my tranny.
