Bar keepers friend for aluminum

It's an abrasive cleanser like Comet. If you have clear coated aluminum wheels or God forbid, painted wheels, it will scratch the hell out of them. I suppose that it would be ok as a first step when polishing oxidized bare aluminum.

it is used to clean pots and pans like all clad etc. I use it on my all clad and it does a good job. But as tony says it is an abrasive.

Bon ami is one I would use vice Bar Keepers friend; supposedly non-abrasive,

PanHandler.

Yep, milder abrasive than Comet, but still abrasive. Proceed with caution.
