does the fuse link ever go? with all the electrical im running in my truck...1200a in alts...fuses on fuses...30K watts rms audio system...2 NS480AGM...8 amps...and my fuse link has never blown and im the original owner

The fuse link protects the alternator. Your other loads should be connected directly to battery + and fused there. The negative leads to the vehicle frame never to the neg battery post.
