Hello ladies and gent..
I know this has been asked before a few times. I have searched and still can't find the answer to my problem
I have a 2004 Expedition XLT, yesterday morning while leaving for work, I had to try 3 -4 times in order to get the shifter to change. I had to use the override button under the steering wheel in order to get the truck moving.
I have been reading many threads and still searching online for the answer.
so far i have checked all fuses, replaced the 5 lights bulbs on the third brake light that were out. checked the shifting cable inside and under/next to tranny. the gear selector is not loose, so I doubt those 2 gold screws (if any) are the problem. I went to O'rilley and ordered the brake switch $45.
any other suggestions?
please and thank you,
Roman04
