Started with the back because that's the way it happened to be pointed in the driveway.

Good pressure washing goes a long way to make life less miserable under there.

Got a little done after work and between raindrops:321:

Removed bolts holding rear brake lines. You have to re drill the holes and move the bracket down about 1.5".

Lower control arm unbolted from strut and mount. You don't have to mess with the ball joint on the spindle at all.

Removed the three top nuts and it's out of there.15mm ratchet wrench is the best tool for this. Not a lot of room up there.

Struts out.

One to go.

Crappy pic cause it was getting dark but you need a ratchet strap to get the arms to line up with the holes in the mounts. Both sides are in place but nothing is tight till the wheels hit the ground. Gonna be a little while cause I'm gonna paint the frame with a 2 part epoxy rust treatment and paint the calipers. Then put on my drilled and slotted rotor sand carbon/ceramic pads. Then turn it around and do the front.

Painted the calipers so they look good with the new rotors.

Rear is done.

Couple of thoughts here. I now have a theory on why you can't get a 3" lift for the rear. It's always a 2". From what I see doing this lift is 2" is about all you can do. At full droop with a 2" lift the half shaft is about 3/8' to 1/2" away from the bottom of the loop in the frame it runs through. If you went higher i think the half shafts would hit at full droop. Kinda bums me out because I actually wanted 3"in the rear. I tow and haul stuff so I wanted to keep the factory rake.I even went as far as asking Ready Lift if they would make me taller rear spacers. They said if I sent them $80k for R&D costs they'd look into it :) I was also going to get a set of Quicklift struts for the back to regain my lost inch but now I don't know. Maybe with some sort of limit strap or something. We'll have to see how much room I have when everything's done. Also this would involve custom rear brake lines because there's no more wiggle room even at 2".
