Dome Light

The dome light on my 07 expy is not coming on when I open the doors. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why? I have turned each one of the interior lights on by themselves but when I open the doors they do not automatically come on. Thank you for any help.

This happens with all the doors?

On my 05 the instrument cluster light adjust wheel also turns off the interior lights when moved all the way to one end. I use this function when camping as the doors and back hatch get left open for long periods of time and it keeps the battery from going dead.

The lights time out eventually (I think like after 10-15 mins), assuming a door isn't closed and opened again.

But, the ability to fully turn off the lights is nice
