Okay I was a diehard Chevy Suburban fan, last one was a 1996 2500 4x4 with a 454 and I kept seeing the Expeditions and it kept calling me. I have a 1999 Ford F150 Ext cab 2wd with the 4.2 and love it so figured why not 2 Fords instead of a Chev.

So bought it today about 3 hours ago, a 1999 EXT 4x4 with the 4.6 Triton V8 Has all the options I wanted and even has power seat on drivers side that I did not want. I dont like bucket seats either but hey I paid $2500 for it and its pretty clean. Has 200K on it but seems to be tight.

I already was pleased about that "Brown Wire Mod" because I want to control if it goes into 4wd or not and figure it could save a little wear and tear here and there.

I test drove 2 Eddie Bauer Edition 4x4 and another XL and all sat lower than this thing does, I mean its a small hop up into this thing. Was there a model that was lifted more than others?

Again thanks for having this here for us new to the world of Expeditions and Ford stuff.

welcome, mine is missing that same screw cap on the "oh shit" handle, also, yours is higher than stock it seems. would inspect the suspension for aftermarket parts.

welcome!

looks like larger then stock tires on it to me, possibly 285/75 16's which would make it a tad taller then most Ex's plus the EB's most likely had air ride which makes them sit lower.
