Has anyone swapped out the gen 3.5 projector (Limited) headlight assemblies for the reflector type (XLT/SSV) assemblies of the same years? Any fitment issues? Any wiring issues?

My projectors seem dim. Stock halogen bulbs meh. LEDs brighter but fall off too quickly. I live out from the city (critters) so I need better low and high beam. Thought of trying high watt HID's but I don't want to be replacing the bulbs all the time. My old 2008 F150 does great with the same make/type LEDs in it's stockish reflector assemblies. So my thought would be to switch the projector assemblies to the reflector assemblies (2016). They aren't cheap so I wanted to see if anyone else had made the swap before. The backs/sockets look similar. Thanks!

My Reflector XLT bulbs were too dim when I first got the Expedition. I could see my truck's shadow in front of me when a car with LEDs was behind me. Agh. I got a set of SL1 Diode Dynamics Bulbs and have been satisfied since. I did have to re-aim to get them properly aimed. At first I was a blinding menance on the road, Now I'm good.
