GPS in my 10 expedition stopped working. Dealers can't reset it an have indicated you need the whole new unit. Today I received notice Sirrus Radio is free this week. Punched the satellite Radio button . It told me what channel I was on but the screen indicated a faulty antenna. Can this be the problem? No antenna no GPS..is there an easy way to check the antenna?
Thanks

You could check the connection at the back of the radio to make sure it is secure.

Depending on cost you may consider a replacement antenna to see if that is the problem. If it works then you know you have to drop the headliner. If it doesn't you have avoided that learning experience of headliners.
