I've been away for some time. Finishing out the last requirements of my Bachelor's degree had me very distracted... The expedition is at 244k now and knocks like all hell from the top end but still seems to run fine. I think the timing chains are making noise though 
I am in the hunt for a similar generation 99-03 F-150. Started a full-time fraud investigation job with a bank so plan to pick one up this summer. Expy will stick around and be my fun vehicle haha. I did just replace my u-joints on both driveshafts this last week. It's like driving a whole different truck! Super smooth now.
Anyways just thought I would drop a thread saying hi. Hope all is well and I will try to get back to giving advice based on my many experiences fixing the old blue pig.
