I am finally installing my motor back in my '97 Exp 4x4, but I can't seem to get the torque converter studs to line up with the driveplate. Anyone got any tips or advice to make this as easy as possible. Any advice and help will be much appreciated!!

The problem was that the drive plate holes wouldn't line up with the torque converter studs where the retaining nuts hold the two together. What I ended up doing was placing them both at 6 o'clock so that I could see them through the inspection cover. From there i just worked the two together and put the transmission-to-engine bolts in. Finally got it and the motor mounts torqued. It's all smooth sailing from here...I hope. Thanks for your help!
