thats "done" the road for you, did you mean that's "down" the road for you meaning you'll eventually get those headers?

i had my manifolds replaced. they cracked. should have had the guys put headers on. but cali smog laws and my dad paying for it. couldnt complain.

If I had the 3" body lift that I have now...not as big a pain in the A$$

no i think the shorty headers are smog legal.
i got the summit versions which came in a pacesetter box. so im thinking they are rebranded pacesetters. Time consuming to install but throttle response is a bit more chipper and sounds more aggresive. I was amazed. I actually like driving it more now. Screw mpg's. haha. Well actually it does belong to my wife. I also got the magnaflow catback but havent put it on yet due to leaving for work. So hopefully this fall my 5.4 will sound like a 5.4
