Hey guys, I have a chance to get brand-new Jeep JK takeoff tires for a seriously good price. At 255/75-17, they're not quite the same as factory, but pretty close. Has anybody run these before? Thanks!

Here's a breakdown of the differences....

They are too skinny for my taste but should work. I ran a nice wide tire to help float a bit more off road (if you duck hunt I'm not sure I would want narrow). That being said I would also double check their weight rating to make sure they are good to go. otherwise if they are good to go rock and roll.

I would run them for 1/2" taller and 1/2" narrower. Be sure the widths are measured on the same width rims, not a 1/2" difference between the two comparisons.

I am running 275 65 18's that I got for 75 bucks for all 4 tires new are 12/32nds and these have 10/32nds wore even.

Above post is bang on. Be sure the tires handle the weight and you will be good to go
