I would really like to be able to punch in a code to unlock my door but the key pad on the driver side door has stopped working long ago. Anyone fix this problem or find a common issue such as a wire break somewhere or is it the key pad itself that fails. I dont have any bad fuses and the key pad does not light up at all so i am assuming there is no power going to it. I am just looking for any tips before my door comes apart.

I just replaced mine...it was failing prob due to me always using it...I have a thread: keypad part number or something like that...also its talked about in the thread: what did u do to ur expedition today...part numbers are given and it takes about 20 mins or less depending on how stubborn ur door pad is...if I get the chance I'll link thread
