lift and add ons need help

could i run some 33s with one of those setups or would a bl be better

Would this be just the same for the 2wd? or am I going to have further issues? Also was removing the step rail neccessary?

i have a 97 expedition eb does it need to be 4x4 for me to lift it im thinking of just putting some spacer 2"
