Been reading it for a while but just joined today. Bought a 2003 Expedition last April. It's an Eddie Bauer with a 5.4, towing package and had 152k km when I bought it (160k km or almost 100k miles now). I bought a new travel trailer and needed a stronger tow vehicle then my trusty 95 Grand Cherokee.

So far I've had more problems then I hoped for with a one owner, dealer serviced truck but with warmer weather approaching I'm determined to get it perfect.

Welcome sir! For the longest time, I wanted a Grand Cherokee with the 5.9. Beastly ZJ. Hell, a 5.2 would suffice. Anywho, sorry to hear about your misfortunes. Hopefully you'll get it all squared away.

Unfortunately 100k is right about the time things start wearing out, and they tend to wear out all at once. Little bit of repair work and she will run pretty good I bet.
