Dip stick? i have to stand on a stool to reach my '17. The '07 was right there.

275K miles? Just use the cheapest oil you can find. 2007 spec was 0W-20. I'd use 10W-30 or 40. The 20-grade was for fuel economy.

This is one of my dislikes on my 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4.

I too must stand on a stool to reach the engine oil dipstick - I'm 5'10" tall.

Ford should have installed a longer engine oil dipstick tube and dipstick. When I travel, I must carry a stool so I can check the engine oil when I get gas.

The Expedition replaced a 2003 Dodge Durango with the 5.9 engine. That engine had a long oil dipstick tube and dipstick, and was easily reachable from the front (passenger side) of the vehicle without using a stool.

I don't understand when vehicles are designed, why the "highly trained" engineers and vehicle platform managers can't figure out basic stuff like this.
