Just bought a used 2001 Expedition. We love it.

I noticed the radiator fluid was brownish color so I want to flush it and replace it.

I am not mechanically inclined, but i am sure i can do it myself as I have on other cars.

Problem: I don't find instructions in the manuel.

Where is the plug to drain the old fluid?

Any other advise on this would be greatly appreciated.

Crawl underneath and look at the bottom of the radiator. There should be a drain **** on the bottom towards one of the ends.

You could always just pull the lower hose. It is a bit messier but a lot quicker. Plus if that fragile drain **** breaks...well...

Check out an Auto Parts store or Wal-Mart for a DIY flush kit. It may come in handy. :) It'll help you flush out all the crappy fluid (and possibly sediment) that a simple drain and re-fill would miss.

Good luck!
