Running Board Bulbs

I replaced mines with LED bulbs, heres the pics.

Just to share what i found, when those bulbs go out it is often an indicator of a cracked light casing. Water gets in there and wrecks the bulbs. I replaced mine and it went for about two years before burning out again. Do not buy the aftermarket light housings off of ebay, they suck. They look like shit after a few months and dont fit on the stock wiring harness. If anyone took off those running boards and has teh light housings and is willing to sell them for a good price, i would be more then happy to take them up cough cough.

Not to hijack this thread buuuut... none of my running board lights work. I have yet to actually look at the boards since right now the're all covered in snow/mud/slush crap from winter here but when spring and 60+ temps roll around what should I check first other then the bulbs? Any recommendations?

if no power @ socket(s) trace your wires back to the frame branch. Occasionally something can get slung up there and pull the harness down/apart.

Ok so now that's it's summer and I've had some time to look at things I have a question. Which fuses/relays do I need to check? I did find that the wiring has been pretty destroyed so I'm probably gonna remove them and run new wiring. Any tips on removing them? Thanks guys
