A few weeks back my idiot neighbour attached booster cables incorrectlyrics to HIS donor van.
I changed the battery that evening, but my after market stereo hasn't worked since.

That morning my 4x4 light would flash, but not since the battery change out.

The stereo/DVD seem to be the only things not working.
I checked all the fuses that refer to radio in my manual

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I would expect the reverse polarity blew something in the radio. Fix or replace.
Verify you have voltage to the radio before condemning it.

Your stereo should have a fuse is on it that might have popped

I'm trying to find what fuse it would need but no luck.
ANY ideas where I would look up? It's not on the jvc site
Thanks

It'd be on the back of the stereo near the plug or itll be inline on the power (yellow) wire

Still nothing
I even wired up a different stereo bit it didn't even light up
Could there be a fuse under the hood or a second fuse that involves the stereo?
Thanks
