Tire/ load rating question

The gross vehicle weight is 7500 lbs. you have four tires that combined will handle 10400 lbs. I'm running Firestone Destination A/Ts rated at 2403 lbs combined total of 9612 lbs on a 17 EL that I don't tow with and they work just fine.

My GVWR is 7,700 pounds, is the el less for a reason?

The OP had a standard length 08 EB 4X4. My standard length 05 EB 4X$ was around 7300 lbs so I was speaking in round numbers. my GVWR on the 17 Limited EL is 7760 LBS.

Oh ok I was confused. Yea 07 + standard is 7,700 they must have increased it.
