Triton exit

I'm looking into a few Expidition (family, dog and camper). I was wondering when ford stopped putting the 5.4triton motor into the expidition? I had an f150 with the triton and it sucker, it was terrible engine. I need to know how new of vehicle I have to go to not be bothered by it?

Not trying to be rude, but I'm not asking for advice on how to fix or how to prevent the triton motor going bad. I'm just not going to risk it.

I tried searching but all I could find was the variety of problems with that engine but nothing about when they took it out. So I figured expidition owners would know the most

2015 was the start of the 3.5liter v6 eco-boost, so, 2014 was last year of triton v8, i think

yep 15, 16 and 17 are all eco boost

that was the issue i had with the 2010 f150 5.4 always felt lacking in tq.

Get 4.10 gears and it'll solve all your problems.
