Truck lost my settings. Is this common?

(2023 Limited SPP with large screen)

So this morning I got in to my truck and it seemed to have lost some (but not all) of my settings. Stuff like
* Collision avoidance
* Alarm, ask when exiting
* My screens on the main dash.


Has this happened to anyone else? Did I somehow cause this? Or did Ford? Or a glitch?

It was a nuisance and I'd like to avoid it in the future if possible.

I will check.

Not "the big one" because the volume knob still only does volume.

I would HOPE that smaller updates would not wipe out settings but who knows.

If this wasnt a 2023 vehicle I would guess battery may need to be checked replaced....

I don't know how to check if an update happened. I "checked for updates" and it said there are none.

I don't see any big changes (like volume knob adjusting temperatures, etc).

It looks like a few items got toggled.
* Alarm - Ask on exit (perimeter or motion)
* Lane keeping turned back on
* Collision assist turned back on

Not a biggie. I just hate not understanding what happened. (engineer brain)
