want to paint trailer hitch

was driving behind my wife in the expy and noticed how terrible the hitch looks.

what should i paint it with? I hear lots about plasti dip on here. Would that work? or maybe jsut some tremclad?

I's sand it down as best I could, then hit it with Rustoleum.

Both a primmer coat and a top coat.

(or two or three of each...)

You can go to Walmart or a local Napa. They both carry a flat black trim paint that is a perfect match to the O.E.M paint

I agree do the hitch with a regular flat paint after some sanding. It will look better on there. My hitch is the only thing on my truck painted with regular paint. The rest is plasti-dip.

I just took a can of rustolieum bedliner and went over the whole thing and then the plastidip to haha
