What am I missing in front of radiator?

I am rebuilding a 99 Expy 4x4 with the 4.6. I have replaced lots of parts from the local pull-a-part. While I was there I noticed that all the Expy's have 2 coolers behind the grill in front of the radiator. I only have 1. When looking at my Expy from the front I am missing the one on the left.

Could someone tell me what it is that I'm missing?

Only if you want to have air conditioning.

maybe the front coolers he is talking about are the ones for the trans and power steering since he said the left side one

op, is the "left" referring to the trucks left (driver side) if so it's the trans cooler and you only "need" it if you haul anything heavy it is included in the optional towing package which also upgrades the radiator to a two row unit.

I should of been more clear. It is the one on the passenger side.
Also, My A/C works great.

That's probably your transmission cooler.

Mine has one- I upgraded it. But it also passes through the radiator as a cooler. Wouldn't hurt to add one if yours doesn't have it.

yup, its the trans cooler. Its stock on most 5.4 models.
