what is the best lube to go with in the front and rear of a 04 Expedition? I have considered the Royal Purple but don't know for sure if this is the gimmick oil to come down the pipe.

Man, just about any of the full synth 75w140 lubes are going to be perfectly sufficient. Just make sure to add the LS additive if you have a LS diff.
