Help! Ford parts stumped by hose number?

So I started changing plugs, got the passenger side done. (!)
In the process of trying to squeeze tools where they should not rightfully go, I broke this hose, which runs down to the PVC valve, y's off to two sides of the throttle body. This is on a 04 5.4. Parts guy wants to sell me $85 hose that has two other hoses that are at the base of the pcv valve (what are those hoses for????). I know I saw a pic of the hose assembly on this site somewhere, and now can not find it. I can cob this one back together with some fuel hose, but would like to replace it soon with a new part. The hose that comes off the side of the throttle body (pas. side) basically crumbled into pieces. Lucky I was able to drive it the 1500 miles back from Wichita! Here is a pic of the offending hose assembly:

Just figured out the extra hoses (which I don't need or want) are to heat the valve with coolant when its cold to keep it from icing over.

Select 'view image' next to part 6C324 - Crankcase Vent Hose

Image will be of the hose assembly with PVC and the single tube (item 6758) on other side...

Tube that raps around PCV valve carries warm coolant... helps keep the PCV heated/warm... Don't know why it needs it... Icing control or keeping vapors as vapors

That is about where we left it tonight at the dealer. We were not sure if that 6c324 is what we needed, and the 6758 does not look like anything I have. I need the hose assembly that 6767 connects to, with the y in it and other tube attached. Looks like I have to buy the entire heated portion with it, which is a bit overkill.

in very cold weather condensation could freeze in the pcv valve/line plugging the vacuum source. It leads to an oliy mess. I still remember retrofitting these system into tempo's under a recall
and it wasn't fun

I can understand the whole money situation...

My experience has always been to replace an entire assembly if has failed at one part.

I went through the same stuff with my Ranger, since the rubber/plastic/silicone was failing everywhere.

No doubt. Placed a call to Tasca. IIRC, about $50 shipped, maybe a smooch more. In the mean time, I patched the old one together with some fuel hose. Running great!

Changing the plugs was an "intimate" experience on my bnew XP, and I found some more rotted out hoses. Brake booster one is next.
