Won't shift into 4Hi or 4Lo

My 99 Expedition will no longer shift into 4WD. I've replaced the selector switch but that did not resolve the problem. When I change the switch to either 4H or 4L, I no longer hear the click. What should I look at next?

sounds like the motor on the T-case took a crap

i agree with just for fun and what you should do next is turn it to 4hi and go under the truck and find the transfer case motor and tap on it with a screwdriver handle or a very small hammer and see if that frees the motor and it goes in 4 hi and if so you have a bad motor on the trnsfer case my bronco did the smae thing a few years back

hey 88 does that run throug the GEM moudule?

i dont think it does i think i goes thre the pcm but i am not totally sure
