Can VIN be decoded to tell vehicle options?

Hi, new to the forum and I'm researching vehicles. If I post a couple VINs, can someone here tell me if they have 3.73 gears or the load leveling suspension?

Well for one, they are all pretty much optioned exactly the same. The Red one has rear buckets, and the Black with Stone interior one has remote start. Other than that they all have the 301A option package, which gives you most of the goodies.
None have rear load leveling suspension or 3.73 gears listed.

This would be supercool if I could get it to work. I get

File does not begin with %PDF

when I try with my VIN and removing the VIN argument alltogether throws out

Argument: VIN is mandatory for WindowSticker Inventory Service

which would indicate that it's a valid URL.

Your Expy is too old. I don't think it works for anything more than 5 years old.

I just used this to run the vin on my Expy, I just found out I have 3.73's not 3.31's .......nice!!!!!

I don't see on the window sticker where it says what rear end gears the truck came with.
Am I over looking something? Thx

I think that the 3.73s are included in the tow package. Mine has no mention of the tow package or air suspension, but it does have the class 3 hitch. If I post my vin in here will someone give me a rundown?
