I've always loved the look of a 4x4 on large swamper tires, cruising by me on local roads. Why do we not see more expeditions lifted up? And why is it hard to find product info on lift kits on this site? Do most of you not wish to ride high?
Don't get me wrong, some things are meant to be lowered like NSX's, M3's, etc.
anyone know any sites that offer quality lift products for our 4x4 5.4Ls?

I'd lift mine some but family drives it from time to time and it becomes inconvenient for them. Plus its pretty pricey.

Even if you do have the air suspension there are conversion kits that will convert your air ride to the coil/springs if you want to go that route. Not sure what the cost would be...

If anyone interested in lift kits for 2003-2006 Rize Industries has just released a 6 and 8 inch version.

how high

how much lift do you want? Rancho makes a 4" kit. Fabtech makes a 5", pretty much anything that fits the F-150 will fit the front, you will have to deal with the rear either by making your own drop down coil buckets or with longer springs and a lifted trackbar bracket.

There are alot of lifted Expeditions. If you go over to Ford Truck World.com you will see. I plan on lifting mine enough to place 35's under it.

There is a guy over on FTW that has a 2000 expedition with a solid axle front end and sitting on 38 ground hawgs. There is another guy with the stock IFS front end lifted with 39 IROC's.

I'm thinking you're going to need a spacer lift to put 33"s under a 03+ Expy. That's why I'm putting on my daystar kit at the end of the month - hopefully enough for new wheels and 33"s.

Rize is just too $$$ for me. : (

i have just finished installing a 8 in. lift on my 2003 expo with 35 in. tires. Rize industry is the only company offering this kind of kit
