Safari roof racks

I was watching "I am Legend", and I liked the roof rack on that Expedition. Does anyone know where I can find that roof rack?

It looks pretty standard to me. It's just loaded up with accessories.
Defender, Surco and a few others make a similar rack. Just be prepared to spend nearly $500 between the rack, mounts and shipping.

Not 100% positive but didnt a user on here have a roof rack like that on his signature pic...I think Solismo was the name...might want to check with him

Out here in So. Cal there is a place that sells them on craigs list for like 175.00

You need a rack that is roughly 54 x 72. I've never seen one that size, that cheap.

The smallest one that I've seen on an Expy that didn't look silly was a 48 x 60.

Sol sold that rack a while ago, I was going to buy it from him, but couldn't get down to Fla in time.

I think this might be the ad he was talking about. Its a bit smaller than what you had mentioned. The word universal always makes me nervous.

I have been thinking of getting one for mine but I am not sure I can park inside the garage here at home or work if i do that... THAT would be unfortunate.. lol


I just put 285/70R17 on it and I love it... but that took up a few inches... plus I am going to turn the torsion bar and put spacers on... so... that may take the rest... oh well...

Here is mine. Just add more lights...lol. I have a sunroof but im sure you could probably get another middle piece to make it longer
