ok guys and gals i was on ebay the other day and i bought this sensor it only cost 8.00 shipped to my door and 15 min to install and i can tell alittle differance in the acceleration of the truck and i am gettting better fuel milage

the part is a cold air intake sensor that tells your computer that the incoming air in too your engine is always 32 degrees thouse making more power so you guys might want to try it i mean it aint a big differance but i can tell and for 8>00 whats it going to hurt by tring it

Good luck with that.

There are much better ways to advance your timing that don't modify the signals going to your ECU.

You get what you pay for.

Google it.

Ya, i would be careful with using these methods guys. I had a friend who used that little conductor piece on his pontiac and it screwed him up something fierce down the road. If you want better mpg, better to get a good intake and a throttle body spacer. Don't mess around with tricking the ECU, it can only end up bad down the road. Just my opinion

Yea I don't know about that, if its constantly telling the computer that its 32 degrees then you'll always be running a little lean or ritch if you ask me. Only reason I think you would be gaining milage is because your just burning less fuel and therefore losing power.

Hmm, where is it that I've read that these things are no good for your engine...

The ECU is there to protect your engine. You shouldn't go around trying to trick it, risking that you blow up the engine...

I just purchased one from Ebay. All they send you is a resistor wraped in shrink wrap. I yet have to install it in my 07'. I will be returning it ASAP. Dont get it. It is a scam! Listen to these guys. They have had there Expy's longer then I have.

these things add a little bit of timing by making the intake air temp look like it is colder. By leaning the mixture and increasing the timing via a tune you will do alot better.
