Looking to purchase a Truxxx 3 inch lift for my 2010 2wd xlt and 31.5 tires. Curious as to what overall height increase will be and if anyone has pic's with this tire size for comparison?

Well it would be mostly the lift, since 31's are pretty close to stock. Go with 33's if you can, that will look better.

3/2 lift u will be able to fit 33s and depending on the offset u might need to trim the front lower lip corners. No biggie

I agree with everyone !!!!! 33's at least. ( Then you'll want 35's !!!)

I know they are different Gen Expy's... but for your comparison... Here's mine when I had 31's and the lift. Looked awful.

Sounds about right, your limiting factor is 2wd...for 4wd vehicles, you can squeeze 35's in the wells. Even with having 4wd, I stayed in the 33" range(295/70/17).
As far as which kit, they're all pretty much the same...however when you say Truxxx 3in, it's really a 3/2(if you get the right one) identical to the ReadyLift 3/2. All 4 coils get spacers. And they'll only work with non-air ride suspensions.

Who told you this? The third generation 4wd and 2wd are the exact same height

33s, I had an aggressive offset on my old truck and had to cut the front bumper. Truxx is basing there information off of an F150 stand point. Trust me I wanted bigger and higher but its just not possible without major mods. I have seen 35s stuffed in a 2nd gen but he had to cut alot too.

I'm sure it would, just don't know if that extra .5 is gonna make that much of a difference. You originally only wanted 33's unless that plan changed. Cali lean=not my cup of tea...towing a 6000lb boat gets my nose in the air just enough, don't need to set it up that way as a daily driver.
I still stand behind my original advice...Truxxx3/2 and 295/70/17 on my factory rims so back spacing isn't an issue. Just my .02

Thanks Dib52. You are partially correct on my goal. The overall goal is to get noticable height and size difference not, over the top.
