Cladding

Hey All! Just bought my first Expedition, 2004 XLT 4X4 5.4L. I love everything about it except the cladding. I have read the threads about having it painted and I think that would be cool but I was wondering if anybody has a pic of what it looks like with the cladding removed. I know there must be holes or something that it snaps into any ideas on how to get rid of the holes or cover them with something?

There are either holes, or posts that would have to be filled or removed. I have not taken the expy apart but I have done body work on other vehicles. If it is holes, they should be welded smoothed then painted. Posts would have to be cut/ground, smoothed and painted. I hope someone has pics because I have thought of doing this too.
