Rear brake line popped above gas tank. I dropped the gas tank replaced all rear brake lines. Replaced gas tank now no fuel also replaced fuel filter. I did check the rest button behind the pass kick panel. It's ok. I pulled the line at the fuel filter no gas. When I turn the key I do hear something sounds like the primer pump for 3 to 4 sec. I pulled the 3 prong wire connected to the fuel pump on top of tank I have power to the left nothing in the middle or to the right and with the 3 prong connecter disconnected when I turn the key I still here something that sounds like a primer pump for 3 to 4 sec.
Am I missing something silly stupid? Thanks for any help.

How many miles on the expy?
What year is it.
Has the pump ever been replaced?
Also may just be that the pump has failed. Try taking a rubber mallet and banging on the tank while starting it. You will need a helper for this.

Recheck the connector at the pump to make sure you didn't dislodge any pins

You should have 12 volts at the pink/black wire and the black wire the pink/black is the hot wire the black wire is the ground wire if you have voltage then I would suspect the pump failed

You probably killed the pump in your repair. Pumps can fail from simply being pushed the wrong way, Fuel pumps are bad for this. The rubber mallet on the tank is not a bad idea, since its free to try. You probably dislodged it. If that killed it or just made it unhappy, thats the fun of fixing pumps.

If you really want to hate fuel pumps, get an F150 from the previous Generation (93-95)...

If you are a betting man I have a sure bet. The odds for a Ford fuel pump going out if you change brake lines is 100%. $12.00 pump on Ebay. Fuel pump mind F@@k Priceless. Thanks for all the help!!
