I'm trying to get the 2nd row seats out of my 2011 EL and I can't seem to figure out how to get the damn plastic covers off so I can access the bolts. Can someone guide me, preferably with pics? Thanks.

I'm in NE PA. I tried prying them off, but was having no luck at all. In fact, I could clearly see that the amount of force I applied on one side was stressing the plastic. It would have cracked if I kept going. :/

171 views and no one can provide any information on how to remove these seats without breaking the plastic? :/

Seems like one has, just didn't have pics to post.

Pics would have been great, but information on how to do would have been fine. No one appears to have either to offer. :/ I know this forum is pretty quiet, but I was hoping.

I pried them off, broke or pulled the plastic parts, then rebent the clips and used a lighter to heat up a screwdriver and melted the plastic nubs back on to the metal clips.
They appear to be a one maybe two time use and I was to pissed to try and find the "right" way

I had to pull mine because the 3 yo terrorist poured a full 64oz cup of lemonade on the floor. I hate stink and that meant pulling the carpet to get it all soaked up and washed down.

New rule: only water in mommies truck.

:rotflmao: I don't think that's going to help me as I was trying not to break them, but I do appreciate the laugh. :happy107:
