I have a '97 that I am seriously wanting to do a Coyote swap in. From what I have found it seems like it will be a straight drop in but I'm not convinced. Does anyone know anything about this swap? I know there will be issues but willing to deal with them.

Why not do a 5.4L stage 2 build up? You would have more power than the Coyote and you can use your existing components and PCM. It would be an easier way to get more power.

Coyote is just a better overall design in pretty much every way over previous mod motors. Sure its not as trqy down low but still, its an awesome engine.
