Was going to post in Electrical but figured I'd have better luck here....

I have a 2006 XLT with switchback leds in the side markers and they were hyper flashing, I bought the new relay from superbrightleds.com and it made them flash at the proper speed when I activate the signal but after the indicator arm on the column is back in middle position (turn signals off), the tic toc tic toc tic toc continues for about 10 more clicks even though it's off and the turn signals are not flashing... not really a "problem" so much it is more an a annoyance because everything is working as it should I just have a lot of clicking after the turn signal is shut off.

If anyone has experienced this and knows how to get rid of it, let me know please!

Thanks

Haven't heard of that one before. Maybe email SuperBrightLED and ask them if they've seen it or they'd send you another relay to try out.

After a few phone calls over the past few weeks with superbright, I've ordered another relay in hopes that it will work properly and they'll take the old on back, if not then I'm going to just try to do some surgery on one of the two led relays and rip out whatever makes the ticking noise
