Shaking 99 XLT

I have a problem with my 99 5.4 awd... between 30-45 if I am cruising at a constant speed..it starts to shake and it almost feels like it is either cutting out or a drivetrain issues...and the Rpm's seem to be shaky... is it possibly a coil? or TPS sensor?

not sure if it's the same problem I had, but I cold take off with no problem until about 50 mph it would shake lie the wheels were falling off and it didn't throw a code. I checked all the coil packs and one had a crack in the expoxy causing it to arc. hope it helps

I'll check into that...I'm thinking it maybe be a coil...HOPEFULLY..thanks for your input

Try putting it in drive, hold the brake and push the gas if it's a bad coil you'll notice the miss.

Even if it hasnt thrown a code yet, try and get it scanned at an auto parts store. You can get a basic OBDII scanner fairly cheap at Harbor Freight for $40ish.
