Just replaced my relay AGAIN today with a new led relay due to a constant ticking I was getting, I found an easy way you don't have to remove all of that garbage but your hands will take a beating

I cursed at it today as I discovered my left rear strut has a nasty leak. Not a good time for any more expenses.

Looks good brother, I love my door jam mounted light bar. I bought 2 4x4 LED Pods on swivel hinges to mount on the roof one on each side to light up the sides but thinking of putting the switch in the cargo area easy access when camping being as the hatch stays open most of the time. Gonna order another LED light bar for the rear also but gotta get that cargo rack first BC that's what I'm going to mount the Pods and rear LED light bar to..

I'm not a big fan of light bars. They look awful to me and I can't imagine they are very aero. Is there much wind noise from it? How about legalities ... head lights are required to be a certain distance from the road. I guess the bar can be used off-roading, but on paved roads I suspect it is a violation.

Yes- light bars can only be used off road (legally). How many people drive offroad at night enough to actually need a light bar like that? My Explorer is driven offroad all the time- only a few times have I had my KC Dayliters on.

For me- I parked my Expedition inside for the first time since Christmas Eve. I've had an ongoing project in my garage that has kept it outside. But I finally cleaned it up enough and parked in there.

They're illegal on-road everywhere as far as I know. Here they have to be covered with an opaque cover at all times while on-road. However, in many rural areas (including where I live) most people just mount them behind the grille and the cops just look the other way as long as you have them wired to go on/off with the high beams only. I considered doing just that, but they're all LED now and LEDs just don't have decent throw compared to HID or halogen so I don't see a lot of practical use in them for my needs. To each his/her own though.
