I have an Eddie Bauer Expedition ,with the Mach audio system, I cannot find the reason why the subwoofer is not working.I took it out, replaced the connection, I don't think I'm getting power back there all together. I know the 25a fuse under the dash is for the audio, and it is fine, but they have other fuses that are also for the audio HELP PLEASE!!!

On a 2000 Expedition, there are 3 things listed that could cause an inoperative sub:

-the sub itself
-the sub amplifire
-the wiring going to these

To start things off, disconnect the plug going into the amplifire. Measure the voltage from pin 1 (dark green/violet wire) to ground. Is there voltage?

I checked for power, and it has power. I plugged the speaker up in my house to see if it worked, and it does. The plug coming from the amp to the speaker is really loose, I tightened the connection, and still nothing. Any advice, and what should be reading coming from the amp to the speaker
