Backup Aid?

The backup aid (beep) in my 2007 could be turned off with a press of the Reset button in the center of the dash over the radio. Stayed off until the truck was restarted. Unless turned off it beeped constantly when backing a trailer. Pretty sure the '17 operates in a similar fashion but with a steering wheel button.

Correct mine can be hushed via the left drivers instrument panel with steering wheel controls. Frankly, I need it the way I park #parkbyfeel

Thanks Andy. I have the Nivomat rear struts which auto level but not the computer controlled ones. Ok so platinum would have met me dvd headrests and ccd suspension. Cool. Thanks.

With the CCD suspension Ford doesn't offer the Nivomat rear struts. Apparently they are incompatible. You also get the 22" wheels with the Platinum as standard.

I have a 2012 xlt that has the sensors. The small round circles on your rear bumper (if present) are your sensors. When I put the vehicle into reverse the message center reads "rear parking aid <on>". If I want to turn it off I can scroll it off.
