Hello all,

I'm in the process of getting the expo ready for a spring break road trip. I plan on having the plugs changed, transmission fluid flushed, and replacing the pcv valve hose(along with oil change and the other normal things). I'm having a hard time finding some where to buy the pcv valve, I get no direct results online and I don't want to risk ordering the wrong part. A site i can order it from or part # would help.

Also, would it be recommended to change coil packs? Or just replace them as they go out?

Any other suggestions are welcome thanks.

This is what I found through Rockauto. Apparently the PCV valve is part of the hose. No listing through Ford besides that same connector hose.

Yeah I saw this but was skeptical because their part # brought up no other results. But it looks like I may have to take a chance.
It’s the same part number I got on Tasca Parts, who is my usual go-to for OEM Ford Parts. Maybe someone with more experience with the 5.4 will jump in. My only 5.4 I traded in with 145K on it and I never changed the PCV.

I can’t find anything. Is there a part number on that white sticker by chance? Or one molded into it?

Skip the coil packs, only replace *if* they ever go. I’d advise against a flush and advocate for a pan drop and filter swap/refill instead, Flushes can cause some issues. The RockAuto PCV will work I’d get the motorcraft one, they let you do returns anyway so you wouldn’t be taking a chance and they ship ultra quick. Generally the stuff will be on your doorstep 1-2 days after you order they are that quick.
