Rocker Panel Compatibility.

To whom it may concern I have traced replacement rocker panels back to key automotive parts. Note they produce and distribute they will not sell to the public. They say the slip on rocker panels fit from 03-17 Expeditions, they could not verify that the 03-06 panels would or wouldn’t fit. Looks like I’m going to order the OE style 06 panels from a distributor and see how similar they are, if they aren’t the same I will return them and buy the slip ons they guarantee will fit. I’ll report back after I get the OEMs and see how they look and compare. My local body shop is willing to do the work and isn’t killing me on cost if I supply parts.

Unfortunately your out of luck with an EL. I purchased 2006 rocker panels for mine but they are only made in standard length, they are close to mine but not exact but I’m making them work. Ford does not sell the outer rocker panels for these trucks without the entire door frame. You do have some options though, there is a guy over on Ford Truck Enthusiasts (another forum) who purchased 16 gauge sheet metal and cut out his existing panels and had the sheet bent to match...... that’s probably going to be your best bet on an EL.
